Protos, LLC is an early stage investment fund that participates at the seed and early stage institutional rounds of financing.  Established in September 1999, the fund held minority positions in 16 companies at the end of 2007.  While most of the portfolio companies are located in the United States, the fund holds positions in companies located in Asia and Europe.

Protos' investment focus is in companies developing enabling information technology and those taking advantage of these new delivery platforms.  Protos also invests in other unique investment opportunities creating an interesting and broad portfolio.
